Matt Davis was born and raised in the Houston, TX area. He was a highly recruited QB in high school and had offers from many colleges. He ultimately chose Texas A&M. After a year, he transferred to Tyler Jr College where he played one season. He finished his playing career at SMU in Dallas, TX. Matt sustained two significant knee injuries (Jr year in high school and while at SMU). He stayed connected to Jesus while battling through the injuries. Matt has a powerful testimony and his faith played a major role in his athletic career.

Matt currently resides in Houston, where is involved in some sports media, mentoring young men, and launching a podcast this month.
