Jackson was born in Anchorage, AK, moved to Las Vegas, NV, then settled in Southlake, TX. He played high school football for the Southlake Carroll Dragons. He went to play collegiately for the SMU Mustangs. He went from walk-on to Captain of the Defense.

He is now a Field Consultant for 7-Eleven and resides in Dallas, TX. He is active at Gateway Church, Dallas campus.
